Material Handler / Warehouse
JOB DESCRIPTION
Material Handler will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This individual will work within all local, state, and federal rules and regulations; and follow all Company policies and procedures.
o Unload route truck containerized waste.
o Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day's runs.
o Stock warehouse with materials after Distribution Center truck arrival.
o Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
o Housekeeping in branch (sweeping, cleaning, straightening).
o Empty and fill drums of solvent mineral spirits.
o Perform minor repairs on parts washers at warehouse.
o Supervise third party bulk liquid transfers.
o Assist with inventory count at warehouse.
o Other duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o High school diploma or GED required
o 1
years work experience
o Attention to detail needed
o Ability to follow specific instructions
o Ability to work with minimal supervision at times
o Forklift driving skills
o Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
