Engineering Associates

As an Engineering Associate, you will draw upon your penchant for detail as you take customers designs and break them down for fabrication, according to customer specification. In accomplishing this, you will produce detailed drawings for shop fabrication and communicate with other departments and customers throughout the process. You will create takeoffs on spreadsheets and check shop drawings. To qualify, you should hold an Associates degree in Mechanical Design (preferred) and posses basic AutoCAD experience. Your strongest ability will lie in drawing checks and accuracy in translating other peoples designs for shop fabrication. Your computer savvy will include Excel (VLookups and formulas). A background in a manufacturing shop environment is highly preferred.
