Mechanical Maintenance Technician
This individual will support out frozen pizza production and packaging lines. Set up and trouble shooting of equipment. Preventative maintenance; repairing machinery and systems; assisting with changeovers; lubrications; moving, setting and leveling equipment. This individual will be expected to completely and thoroughly comply with USDA and OSHA standards and other appropriate written procedures and work instructions. Other responsibilities and duties include maintaining high standards of housekeeping and GMP's, entering and retrieving data to access information on parts and work orders and other duties as assigned.
Must have previous experience with hand tools, arters, relays, limit switches, fuses and primary control components,
and problem solving skills.
Must be at least 18 years or older.
Must have a High school diploma.
Working knowledge and skills in following areas would be useful:
o Conveyor systems, packaging and processing machinery, pumps, mixers, gear reduction boxes, computer monitors and mechanical refrigeration systems and PLC controls.
o Read and understand Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic drawings and schematics.
Must have a valid drivers license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
Must be able to report to work on time according to your scheduled shift. Good attendance is mandatory.
Physical requirements include but not limited to:
o Lifting/Carrying up to 20 lbs Frequently, 21-100 lbs Occasionally.
o Continuously - Standing/Walking
o Frequently - Twisting/Turning, Bending, Squatting, Kneeling, Crouching, Climbing, Crawling.
o Occasionally - Balancing, Reach above shoulders, Reach away from body, Repetitive use of right/left hand(s), Grasping with right/left hand(s), Fine finger dexterity of both right/left hand(s).
Must pass Bernatello's forklift certification quiz and operational test.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and take part in our random drug screen program.
Must have your own reliable transportation.
Basic reading, writing, math and mechanical skills (testing required).
Must have a stable work history we can verify with an employee reference check.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
