Pay based on availability and experience.
Ideal available hours are between 3 & 4 pm to 11:
30 pm.
Out times are based on when the work is done for the day with rarely going past 11:
30 depending on events and restaurant business for the evening.
This position can be very fast paced during peak times while other days/times may allow for dish room cleaning and upkeep.
Responsibilities Keep our dish room running at all times while working and set the pace for our dish room team Uphold clean dish quality standards for our restaurant, events, and kitchen teams & guests Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain dish room chemicals and supplies Follow all health and safety regulations Restock kitchen dishes during restaurant hours Sorting, scrubbing, loading, unloading and putting away dishes including but not limited to china, glassware, silverware, banquet & catering dishes, chaffers, and some kitchen dishes as needed Follow proper procedure to clean the dish room at the end of every shift including taking out garbages, cleaning counters and dishwasher, floors, etc.
Skills Proven working experience as a dishwasher or willingness to learn and positive attitude toward working Ability to push/pull/lift at least 30 pounds Knowledge of dish room chemicals and supplies or willingness to learn A keen eye for attention to details Ability to work independently Ability to work with a wide range of ages and backgrounds Holidays required (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) Job Type:
